Launching our own concept
Having conceived the concept for this Jerk BBQ & Rum Shack, we wrote the business plan, compiled the team and raised the finance, then set about designing the Dub Jam brand identity, website and interior design, featuring up-cycled car wheels and beer-kegs as stools; buoys and tin cans as lights and a sound system playing classic tunes from the legendary Trojan Records.
After years designing and helping develop restaurant brands for our clients, the dream to open our own Jerk BBQ & Rum Shack was finally realised with the launch of DUB JAM in London's Covent Garden - in partnership with our good friends at Adventure Bar.
We designed a fun, simple one-page website that would suit mobile devices, score highly in search engines, encourage people to sign-up, download our menu, connect through social media and find us on Googlemaps. At the same time the site incorporates a Spotify music player and Instagram slide-show of 'Tings that inspire us' to position Dub Jam with a strong music connection and a passionate Caribbean personality.
